Popular organizations and social movements from different countries have just announced the celebration of the Urban Alternative and Popular Social Forum as a counter proposal to the 7th World Urban Forum, organized by UN-HABITAT.
Both events will take place in the city of Medellín (Colombia) from 5 to 9 and 5 to 11 April, respectively.
As expressed in the appeal published by the organizers, the Forum aims to promote the exchange of local, national and international experiences that could contribute to building a city proposal that challenges the neoliberal model.
