We are pleased to send you the program of the 1st 2014 Biannual Meeting of the UCLG Committee on Social Inclusion, Participatory Democracy and Human Rights.
The meeting will be held in Gwangju (South Korea) on 17th May from 9 am to 12h00 am in the framework of the 4th World Human Rights Cities Forum. This event has been co-organized by the Committee and it will take place from 15th to 18th May 2014. Please find enclosed both the program of the meeting and the Forum.
We are happy to announce that several cities from the following 15 countries have already confirmed their participation to the meeting and Forum: Austria, Brazil, Korea, Spain, France, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Dominican Republic, The Netherlands, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sweden and Taiwan.
This geographical diversity will be a great opportunity to enlarge the work of the Committee and take the first steps towards establishing a network of cities for human rights and for the right to the city.
