In its will to continue to make the voice of peripheral cities heard, the world network FALP will organize an international seminar from November 23 to 24 in Porto Alegre and São Leopoldo (Metropolitan region of Porto Alegre). The Legislative Parliament of the State of Rio Grande do Sul and the town hall of São Leopoldo will be the hosts of this event.

In a difficult context of tensions, of political, social and financial crisis throughout the world, it is a question of carrying the voice of our cities, of our inhabitants to resist and build polycentric, interdependent, sustainable and democratic metropolises.

The topics of the right to the city, youth, democracy and equality are as some of the subjects which will be tackled during the seminar. The program is still in course of construction.
