As of 2025, Adrià Duarte takes on the coordination of the Committee on Social Inclusion, Participatory Democracy and Human Rights of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG-CISDPDH).
With a solid background within the municipalist movement, especially in the field of local democracy and citizen participation, Adrià Duarte is also Coordinator of the Technical Secretariat of the International Observatory of Participatory Democracy (OIDP). His new role will be a key opportunity to strengthen the democratic and human rights agenda, aligned with UCLG's priorities for 2025, and in synergy with the global movement for human rights, social inclusion, gender equality and peace.
With this incorporation, the UCLG-CSIPDHR Technical Secretariat team is configured as follows:
