People have the right to live in peace, and people have the right to self-determination. We, as a state under occupation, affirm the right of people to live in peace, and it is the right of our children to learn and live in safety and security, and they have the right to live a dignified life. Local governments are the main umbrella for the people in their concession areas, and our local body is keen to promote human rights, especially within the community in the city of Beni Naim, by working to provide a safe environment for citizens, and working to develop the educational sector and provide appropriate schools for our children, in addition to assisting the municipality. In developing the health sector and working with partners to combat poverty and provide a decent life for citizens, all of this makes the local body the protector of citizens' rights and working to protect them, promoting these rights and working side by side to promote human rights in a way that guarantees a decent life for our citizens.
Because of our belief in the municipality of Bani Naim in the importance of promoting human rights, we are pleased and honored to join the campaign, which will be a reference and a strong assistant for us to meet human rights in our community, especially since our citizens live under the Israeli occupation. We are keen to highlight our just cause and defend and protect the rights of our citizens to live in dignity and freedom.
