IOPD Distinction “Good Practice in Citizen Participation”

For the second year running, the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IOPD) invited the CSIPD to be part of the International Jury for the 4^th Distinction "Good Practice in Citizen Participation" 2009, that will be made up of 6 local governments and 12 institutions this year (universities, research centres and organisations from local governments). This edition has seen 22 experiences from Latin America, Europe and Africa. The winner of the award will be announced on the occasion of the 9^th IOPD Annual Conference, to take place from November 18 - 20 in Reggio Emilia (Italy).
